    Your impact

    You will convert challenging requirements into dependable, scalable processes. From the first read of engineering drawings to the last inspection, you will orchestrate methods, tooling, and CNC programming so our teams deliver right‑the‑first‑time quality—on time.

    Core responsibilities

    • Analyze customer requirements (drawings, specifications, purchase orders) and define machining and assembly sequences.
    • Produce shop routings, operation sheets, tooling strategies, and process documentation to ensure high‑quality output.
    • Match manufacturing methods to available machines for maximum efficiency and consistency.
    • Specify, design, and procure special tooling/fixtures and equipment aligned to budget and schedule.
    • Program CNC equipment for effective and efficient production.
    • Serve on Corrective Action and MRB Boards to drive systematic improvements.
    • Troubleshoot machining/tooling issues and implement durable fixes.
    • Create or update manufacturing drawings via CAD methodology.
    • Value‑engineer products and processes to shrink cost, lead time, and cycle time.
    • Comply with all company policies/procedures, as well as military and contractual requirements.
    • Other duties as needed.

    Processes you’ll shape

    Milling, turning/lathe operations, honing, plating, CNC programming, assembly, testing, non‑destructive testing, dimensional and visual inspection, and electro‑mechanical assembly.

    What you bring

    • Proficiency in SolidWorks and Microsoft Suite
    • Strong command of GD&T
    • Working knowledge of MRP, kitting, batch sizing, configuration control, and workflow routings

    Background

    • BS in Engineering required; equivalent experience considered
    • 7+ years of manufacturing experience preferred

    Technical fluency

    • GD&T; CNC tooling; troubleshooting
    • CNC programming; CAD; CAD/CAM
    • G‑Code and M‑Code
    • CNC machine setup & changeover
    • Precision measurement & hand metrology
    • Production run setups

    Equipment and platforms

    • CNC Mill (3–4 axis VMC): Fanuc, Mazak, Haas, Okuma, Doosan, DMG Mori Seiki
    • CNC Lathe (2–4 axis): Mazak, Haas, Okuma, Doosan, DMG Mori Seiki
    • CAM: Mastercam, Mazatrol
    • CNC Mill (5+ axis VMC): Fanuc, Mitsubishi, Mazak, Haas, DMG Mori Seiki
    • CNC Lathe (5+ axis): Mazak, Okuma, Doosan, DMG Mori Seiki
