Responsibilities Duties Assist in the execution of projects to improve safety and reduce product manufacturing costs. Conduct time studies to define manufacturing cost (labor routings). Develop/maintain/implement process standards and manufacturing documentation (Operational Method Sheets, work instructions, value stream map, etc.). Review Bill of Materials for errors and production consumption variances, determine root causes and recommend corrective actions. Lead 6S organization projects and present results to cross-functional teams. Advocate behavior-based safety in all aspects of plant operations. Identify efforts to improve workplace ergonomics. Participate in daily communication meetings and performance monitoring. Collaborate with supervisors, factory managers, engineers, and production associates. Qualifications Requirements Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related Engineering discipline from an ABET accredited program. Solid interpersonal skills. Ability to interview others to collect information. Ability to manage multiple tasks, solve technical problems, lead small projects, and work effectively in cross-functional teams. Excellent writing, presentation and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical problem-solving skills.
