Engineering Role in Food Manufacturing

Job Description

Improve manufacturing processes and plant performance
Lead equipment installations, startups, and commissioning projects
Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical equipment issues
Support preventative maintenance initiatives and reliability programs
Partner with maintenance and outside vendors on repairs and upgrades
Maintain technical documentation and equipment records
Support CMMS implementation and maintenance planning
Train maintenance personnel on equipment and procedures
Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards
Work cross-functionally with Operations, Production, and Quality teams

The Successful Applicant

5+ years of Plant Engineering experience with an engineering degree OR 8-10+ years of related industrial maintenance/engineering experience
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting capabilities
Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, controls, conveyors, and HVAC systems
Ability to read and interpret PLC ladder logic
Project management experience within manufacturing environments
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
