Job Description: 
  • The Manufacturing Planner is responsible for developing and maintaining production plans and schedules that support customer demand, inventory targets, and operational objectives. This role analyzes demand, capacity, material availability, and production constraints to create executable schedules and proactively address risks.
  • The position partners closely with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Procurement, Quality, Customer Service, R&D, and other cross-functional teams. It also supports new product introductions, product transfers, and continuous improvement initiatives focused on OTIF, backorders, schedule attainment, inventory, and utilization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain production schedules for multiple product lines based on demand, capacity, and material availability.
  • Prioritize production activities to maximize performance and minimize delays and backorders.
  • Monitor key metrics including OTIF, schedule attainment, inventory, safety stock, shortages, and utilization.
  • Identify capacity, material, and production constraints and coordinate recovery actions.
  • Maintain MRP planning parameters, including lead times, lot sizes, safety stock, and related master data.
  • Support BOM, routing, material master, and product structure changes as required.
  • Monitor open production and material orders and expedite when necessary.
  • Partner with Manufacturing and Procurement to resolve shortages and production risks.
  • Support PFEP, PPI, Lean, and other continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain planning documentation and ensure compliance with applicable quality, safety, ISO, FDA, and GMP requirements.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, Data Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or materials planning.
  • Strong knowledge of production planning, inventory management, MRP, and capacity planning.
  • Proficiency with SAP (E1) and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Experience using structured root-cause and continuous improvement tools.
Preferred Qualifications
  • APICS/CPIM certification.
  • Experience in medical device, diagnostics, life sciences, or other regulated manufacturing environments.
  • Lean or Six Sigma certification.
  • Experience with new product introductions and SIOP/S&OP processes.
Working Conditions
  • Office and manufacturing environment.
  • May require use of designated PPE in manufacturing areas.
  • Requires periods of sitting, standing, and walking.
Non-Negotiable Hiring Criteria
  • Strong production planning and ERP experience.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong project management, organization, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple complex priorities.
  • Working knowledge of quality, safety, and manufacturing principles.
  • Manufacturing Planning experience is required
  • Proficient in E1 and SalesForce, Excel and PowerBI
  • Ability to multitask
