VOLT is hiring Manufacturing Operators for a hands-on role in a climate-controlled biotech lab environment located in Austin, TX. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with a stable work history who want to grow in the biotechnology manufacturing or production industry.

While these positions begin as contract roles, strong performers will be considered for conversion into full-time employment.

Responsibilities:

• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and lab instructions accurately.
• Perform routine lab and manufacturing tasks with minimal supervision.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and precise work environment.
• Use computers and lab systems to document work and track materials.
• Operate small tools, materials, and lab equipment safely.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and wear required PPE.
• Support continuous improvement of lab processes.
• Stand for extended periods and work 12.5-hour shifts.
• Lift materials safely within OSHA limitations.
• Work overtime when needed.

Required Qualifications:

• Consistent work history with experience in fast-paced environments such as Manufacturing, Warehouse, Production, Fulfillment, or Assembly.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to carefully follow written and verbal instructions.
• Basic computer skills (data entry, tracking systems, etc.).
• Reliable communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and procedures.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

• Familiarity with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) or GLP (Good Laboratory Practices).

Shift Schedule:

• Day and Night Shifts.
• 12.5 hours for 3 days.
• 6.5 hours for 1 day.
• 4x on / 3x off.

Pay Rate:

• $20.00 - $23.00 per hour.
• +$10 shift differential.

Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidates education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
