Ready to Reimagine Machining?
Do you see a drawing and instantly map out the tools, workholding, code, and checks needed to make it run flawlessly—again and again? Join CCT Enterprises as our Manufacturing Methods Engineer — CNC & Swiss Turning and turn that instinct into stable, scalable production.
Let’s Start With a Few Questions
- Can you transform complex prints and tight tolerances into clean, efficient CNC programs?
- Do you enjoy proving out on the floor—tuning feeds, speeds, and toolpaths—until the cycle just sings?
- Are you comfortable writing work instructions, training operators, and locking in repeatable setups?
- Do you thrive in a fast-moving environment where priorities shift and problem-solving is the norm?
- Are you eager to fold in automation and AI-assisted tools to boost programming speed and consistency?
What You’ll Tackle
- Own new part introductions: strategy, tooling, fixturing, CNC code, setup, and production launch.
- Program and set up CNC lathes, Swiss turning machines, and milling centers.
- Root-cause and resolve dimensional, surface finish, and tool-life issues on active jobs.
- Optimize existing processes to improve throughput, quality, and consistency while reducing cost.
- Create and update process documentation and step-by-step work instructions.
- Train operators and setup technicians on both new and revised methods.
- Evaluate manufacturability and cycle times to support accurate quoting for incoming work.
- Partner with Quality and Production to stabilize processes and sustain capability.
- Identify opportunities for automation and continuous improvement across the cell.
What You Bring
- 5+ years in CNC manufacturing environments.
- Depth in turning, Swiss machining, and/or milling, with proven CNC setup and programming skills.
- Programming tools: Mastercam and/or ABILE preferred.
- CAD: 2D and 3D experience; VISI and/or SolidWorks is a plus.
- Strong grasp of machining science—feeds/speeds, tooling selection, workholding, and process design.
- Understanding of materials, cost drivers, and high-efficiency precision manufacturing methods.
- Quality literacy: APQP, PPAP, ISO, CAR, SPC.
- Analytical, detail-oriented, and systematic in approach.
- Bonus: exposure to automation or robotic manufacturing.
