Job Title: Material Handler
Pay Rate: $19/ hr
Location: North Attleboro, MA
Shift: 1st Shift (7:00am - 3:45pm)
Job Summary:
The Material Handler/Expeditor is responsible for organizing, scanning, and distributing work orders within the metal polishing department. This includes reading through work orders to ensure accuracy, moving materials/polishing work within the department, and scanning orders into the production database. This person will also be expected to assist with polishing work when needed.
Responsibilities:
- Sorting and distributing work orders within the metal polishing department.
- Scanning and tracking order to ensure they are filled in a timely manner.
- Verifying work orders and notifying management with any discrepancies.
- Gathering completed work orders and moving them to their respective department.
- Assisting with metal polishing duties when required.
- Communicate with project managers and provide updates on the status of materials and equipment.
Qualifications:
- 6+ months of experience in warehouse or material handler position
- Knowledgeable with material handling and use of scanning systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail
Ability to stand for long periods of time
