Pay: $60,000 - $70,000 per year
Hours: 7am to 3:30pm (Monday to Friday)

As a Manufacturing Operations Manager, you'll oversee production activities, develop and mentor staff, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to boost manufacturing performance. You'll work closely with supervisors and department teams to deliver results that enhance safety, quality, and efficiency.
What You'll Do As a Manufacturing Operations Manager, you will be responsible for - Leading daily manufacturing operations, with a focus on safety, quality, productivity, and accountability. - Managing, coaching, and developing supervisors, team leads, and production employees. - Building team capabilities through training, cross-training, and succession planning. - Coordinating labor, equipment, and materials to meet production schedules and customer commitments. - Monitoring production capacity, work in progress, overtime, and schedule performance. - Collaborating across departments to resolve production challenges and adapt to changing priorities. - Driving improvements in workflow, quality, capacity, labor efficiency, and cost. - Establishing documented, repeatable production methods. - Coordinating technical resources for equipment and process improvements. - Partnering with Quality to address defects, scrap, rework, and customer complaints. - Overseeing corrective actions, preventive maintenance, and equipment reliability initiatives. - Tracking manufacturing performance and developing budgets and proposals for staffing, equipment, automation, and facility investments.
What You'll Bring The ideal candidate for this role will have - At least seven years of manufacturing experience, including five years leading production teams. - Strong knowledge of production planning, labor management, quality, equipment reliability, and continuous improvement. - Experience using ERP/MRP systems and production data to guide decisions. - Strong leadership, communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
