Job Details

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain manufacturing equipment and facility systems
  • Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on production machinery
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment issues
  • Respond to equipment breakdowns and restore production safely and efficiently
  • Perform routine inspections to identify potential equipment failure
  • Repair or replace motors, bearings, belts, sensors, switches, and other components
  • Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and modifications
  • Support production changeovers and equipment adjustments when needed
  • Complete scheduled maintenance activities and document completed work
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and equipment history
  • Partner with production and engineering to identify recurring equipment issues
  • Support root cause investigations and long term corrective actions
  • Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe maintenance work area
  • Follow established safety procedures and maintenance standards

REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills
  • Experience working with manufacturing equipment and production machinery
  • Basic electrical troubleshooting experience
  • Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices
  • Experience working with pneumatic and hydraulic systems
  • Ability to diagnose equipment failures and determine appropriate repairs
  • Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and equipment documentation
  • Strong commitment to workplace safety and equipment reliability
  • Ability to work effectively with production, engineering, and maintenance teams

NICE TO HAVES

  • 2+ years experience troubleshooting automated manufacturing equipment
  • PLC troubleshooting experience
  • Experience with industrial electrical systems
  • Knowledge of motors, drives, sensors, and control systems
  • Experience with conveyors, pumps, compressors, or similar equipment
  • Welding or fabrication experience
  • Experience with computerized maintenance management systems
  • Familiarity with predictive maintenance techniques
  • Exposure to Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement
  • Previous experience supporting equipment installation and commissioning
