Manufacturing Maintenance Technician - Industrial

We are searching for experienced Industrial/Manufacturing Maintenance Technicians for our client in Kernersville, NC.

$25.25/hr

2pm to 10pm or 10pm to 6am

Monday - Friday

Key Requirements at each level

Level 1

• Hand tool operation
• All of Pad Cleaning
• Mechanically capable
• Equipment cleaning
• Preventative Maint.
• Capable of using side grinder, angle grinder, and belt sander.
• Capable of drilling/tapping holes in various materials
• Replace pumps and motors with guidance from senior-level GMM
• Replace mechanical components (gearbox, chain, sprocket, etc.) with guidance from senior-level GMM
• Basic understanding/operation of emission control devices
• General knowledge of Compressed Air System, chiller(s), & Cooling Tower(s) Systems
• Assist with assigned PM activities
• Completion of mechanical and/or electrical aptitude testing

Level 2

• All Of Level 1
• Mechanical proficiency
• Mechanical Troubleshooting
• Pipe Cutting/Threading
• Basic Electrical Knowledge
• Manual machining abilities:
• Lathe
• Mill
• Bandsaw/Cutoff Saw
• Rebuild/repair pumps—AO Diaphragm & Motor Driven
• Troubleshoot/diagnose & replace mechanical drive system components or repair as needed
• General knowledge of SRU, Hot Oil Boiler, Steam Boiler, Scrubber & Afterburner Systems
  

Level 3

• All of Level 2
• Mechanical Independence
• Electrical & Mechanical
• Troubleshooting
• Basic welding
• Basic CNC machining
• Interpret Electrical/Mechanical drawings and schematics
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot all plant utility and support systems
