Manufacturing - Maintenance Technician

Job title: Maintenance Technician
Location: Houston, TX (100% Onsite)
Duration: 6 Months 
Pay rate: $19.24 per hour on W2
Schedule: Monday to Friday 5:00 am - 3:30 pm, open to OT and weekend

Job Description

Work with Maintenance Manager & Team Lead to ensure all maintenance issues are resolved or completed in a timely manner.

• Follow daily maintenance tasks set forth by Maintenance & Team Lead.
• Follow all safety procedures and policies.
• Work with Maintenance Manager & Team Lead to ensure facility equipment is running at full capacity to meet production goals.
• Maintain all maintenance tools, machinery, and other equipment to keep them operating in good working condition.
• Perform job functions wearing proper PPE as designated by the company.
• Able to safely and correctly operate hand and power tools and machinery, including forklifts, semi-automated material handling equipment, and overhead cranes.
• Participate in training and continuing education as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Work overtime as required.

• Experience: Experience resolving maintenance issues, keeping facility equipment running at full capacity, and maintaining tools and machinery.

• Skills: Ability to safely and correctly operate hand tools, power tools, forklifts, material handling equipment, and overhead cranes.
