Our client, a leading organization in the consumer goods manufacturing sector, is seeking a dedicated Manufacturing Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Manufacturing Maintenance Technician, you will be an essential part of the Maintenance Department supporting operational excellence. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach, which will enable you to thrive in this dynamic environment.
Job Title: Manufacturing Maintenance Technician
Location: Grand Rapids, Michigan
Pay Range:$35 per hour plus OT, benefits
What's the Job?
- Complete daily activities related to the maintenance of the building, equipment, and machinery.
- Inspect building and equipment to identify repair needs and evaluate functionality.
- Perform electrical maintenance, including replacing fixtures, bulbs, and troubleshooting electrical systems.
- Conduct minor plumbing repairs such as fixing leaks and unclogging drains.
- Support preventative maintenance on industrial woodworking equipment, HVAC systems, and building fixtures.
What's Needed?
- Demonstrated mechanical and electrical repair skills and knowledge.
- Ability to manage multiple complex priorities and tasks efficiently.
- Strong judgment and decision-making capabilities.
- Basic computer literacy to utilize maintenance management systems like MaintainX CMMS.
- Proficiency in using a variety of power and hand tools safely and effectively.
