Manufacturing Maintenance Engineer Essex County, NJ
- Lead advanced troubleshooting and repairs of mechanical, conveyor and electrical issues
- Partner with maintenance technicians to execute preventive and predictive maintenance strategies.
- Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements to enhance equipment reliability and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate closely with production teams to support day-to-day operations and ensure rapid resolution of equipment-related concerns.
- Conduct root cause analyses on recurring problems and engineer long-term, sustainable solutions.
- Assist with the installation, commissioning, and integration of new manufacturing equipment.
- Maintain thorough documentation of maintenance activities within the computerized maintenance management system
- Mentor and provide technical support to maintenance technicians to enhance their troubleshooting skills and equipment knowledge.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support the maintenance and engineering teams.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
- 2 years of experience in maintenance engineering, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
