Manufacturing - Machine Operator

Operates conventional and CNC production machines such as winders, milling machines, drill presses, broaches, lathes, saws, grinders, welders, etc. Must understand material hardness, cutting tools, speeds and feeds, coolant requirements, and machining techniques.

Location: Orange VA (100% Onsite)
Duration: 6 months Contract
Pay range: $19.00 per hour on W2
3^rd Shift Schedule: 11:00 PM 7:00 AM, Sun Thurs

Job Description
Operates conventional and CNC production machines such as winders, milling machines, drill presses, broaches, lathes, saws, grinders, welders, etc
Sand, deburr, etc. as necessary to properly complete the machining operation with the quality required.
Must understand material hardness, cutting tools, speeds and feeds, coolant requirements, and machining techniques.

Must Have

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2 to 4 years of machining experience.
• Welding knowledge.
• Experience working in a manufacturing setting.
• Experience as a CNC Machinist or in a similar role.
• Familiarity with a variety of CNC machines and controls.
• Solid understanding of CNC programming and machining techniques.
