Manufacturing Line Support Specialist
Picture your day on a bustling production floor. On either 1st or 2nd shift, you arrive ready to keep materials flowing, stations organized, and lines running safely and efficiently. You’re the steady hand who makes sure operators have what they need, quality stays on point, and finished goods are packaged and staged without delay.
What You’ll Do
- Stage and deliver materials and components to workstations so production never slows.
- Partner with machine operators and production teammates, jumping in where help is needed.
- Keep work areas clean, orderly, and well supplied.
- Handle end-of-line work: packaging, labeling, sorting, and palletizing finished products.
- Perform basic quality checks and immediately report any defects or issues.
- Transport materials using pallet jacks or other approved equipment.
- Follow all safety procedures, work instructions, and company policies at all times.
- Support inventory counts and replenish materials as directed.
- Accurately complete required production and quality documentation.
- Take on additional tasks as assigned by supervisors.
What You Bring
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Reliability and strong attendance; a team-first mindset with the ability to work independently.
- Clear communication and basic problem-solving skills.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced manufacturing setting with a safety-first focus.
Physical Demands & Work Environment
- Frequent standing and walking for extended periods.
- Repetitive lifting, bending, reaching, and carrying.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Work in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.
