We are looking for an experienced Manufacturing IT Support Engineer with strong application support and.NET development experience. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with .NET Core, .NET Framework, ASP.NET, VB.NET, SCADA platforms, SQL, Oracle, and ServiceNow. Experience supporting manufacturing customers and COTS MES applications will be highly beneficial.

The candidate will be responsible for incident monitoring and resolution, issue triaging, stakeholder coordination, application development, and ensuring SLA and service management requirements are consistently met.

Must-Have Skills

  • Strong experience in .NET development, including .NET Core, .NET Framework, ASP.NET, and VB.NET.
  • Hands-on experience with at least one SCADA platform.
  • Strong experience with SQL and Oracle databases.
  • Hands-on experience with ServiceNow.
  • Good understanding of Incident, Problem, Change, Service Level Management (SLM), Capacity, and Knowledge Management processes.
  • Experience in application support and issue resolution.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams to triage and resolve issues.
  • Ability to maintain agreed SLA levels and ensure quality of service delivery.
  • Experience interacting with SMEs to resolve functional and technical issues.
  • Ability to coordinate with suppliers, OEMs, business stakeholders, and IT teams.
  • Experience tracking and reporting progress to stakeholders.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Monitor and resolve day-to-day application incidents, preferably using ServiceNow.
  • Interact with client IT and business users to understand and resolve functional issues.
  • Triage issues and coordinate with cross-functional teams for timely resolution.
  • Follow established service management processes, including Incident, Change, Capacity, and Problem Management.
  • Ensure agreed SLA levels are consistently maintained.
  • Work closely with SMEs to investigate and resolve functional issues.
  • Coordinate communication between suppliers, OEMs, business stakeholders, and other IT teams.
  • Provide regular status updates and assist in preparing operational reports.
  • Track and report issue and resolution progress to stakeholders.
  • Participate in knowledge sharing, knowledge transition, and issue resolution activities.
  • Develop and enhance application functionalities based on customer requirements.
  • Maintain quality of delivery while ensuring adherence to operational and service management standards.

Preferred Experience

  • Previous experience supporting manufacturing customers.
  • Experience with SCADA or COTS MES applications.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing IT environment.
