    Position Overview

    Ultimate Staffing is seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Facilities Technician to support the operation, maintenance, and reliability of facility systems within a high-tech manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for maintaining critical utilities and equipment, troubleshooting facility issues, and ensuring safe, efficient operations across manufacturing, warehouse, office, and cleanroom spaces.

    What You'll Do

    • Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems, boilers, pumps, air compressors, plumbing, and exhaust systems
    • Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot Building Management Systems (BMS)
    • Support mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems throughout the facility
    • Maintain and troubleshoot facility utilities including:
      • Chilled water systems
      • Hot water systems
      • Compressed air systems
      • DI water systems
      • Process gas systems
    • Perform equipment startups and shutdowns
    • Change filters, lubricate equipment, and calibrate meters and sensors
    • Maintain maintenance records and work orders using a CMMS system
    • Respond to equipment failures, alarms, and emergency maintenance requests
    • Coordinate with contractors and vendors performing onsite work
    • Follow all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), PPE, and confined space requirements
    • Support reliability, efficiency, and continuous improvement initiatives

    What We're Looking For

    Required Qualifications

    High school diploma or equivalent

    2-5 years of facilities, plant, or building maintenance experience

    Experience with:

    • HVAC systems
    • Boilers
    • Chilled and hot water systems
    • Building Management Systems (BMS)

    Ability to:

    • Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
    • Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems
    • Use maintenance tools and diagnostic equipment
    • Work independently and as part of a team

    Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills

    Basic computer skills for documentation and system monitoring

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience in semiconductor, cleanroom, biotech, pharmaceutical, or advanced manufacturing environments
    • Experience using CMMS systems such as Maintenance Connection
    • EPA Refrigerant Certification
    • Forklift Certification
    • Confined Space Entry Certification
    • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, TPM, or Continuous Improvement practices
    • Experience with energy conservation and sustainability programs

    Schedule & Pay

    Schedule: Monday-Friday, Day Shift 10am - 7pm

    Pay: $35.00-$48.00/hour DOE
