Role & Responsibilities

We are seeking an Aerospace Manufacturing Estimator / Planner for an aerospace flight test and fabrication organization which would be a great opportunity for someone with experience in manufacturing estimating, routing, and production planning looking to further their career in aerospace manufacturing.

• Review drawings, specifications, and technical data packages to build labor, material, tooling, and outside-processing estimates
• Develop routings, work orders, travelers, and work instructions from raw material through final inspection
• Partner with Engineering, Purchasing, Quality, and Production to set realistic schedules and coordinate special processes
• Maintain estimating databases, update plans for engineering changes, and support AS9100 audits

Essential Qualifications

• 3+ years in aerospace manufacturing planning, estimating, manufacturing engineering, CNC machining, or production control
• Associates degree in Manufacturing Technology, Mechanical Technology, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Skilled in blueprint/GD&T interpretation, CAD, and Excel; knowledge of CNC, sheet metal, and welding

Bonus Qualifications

• ERP/MRP systems experience
• AS9100 manufacturing environment experience
