    About the Role

    Step into a pivotal position that keeps a medical manufacturing operation running smoothly and safely. As the Equipment Reliability Technician, you’ll perform preventive maintenance, diagnose issues, and implement improvements that reduce downtime and enhance quality across production lines.

    A Day in the Life

    • Start your shift by reviewing the preventive maintenance calendar, prioritizing tasks, and documenting completed work.
    • Inspect and service equipment, focusing on hydraulic and electrical systems to ensure stable operation.
    • Troubleshoot unexpected issues, determine root causes, and carry out effective repairs.
    • Maintain and organize the parts inventory so needed components and supplies are on hand.
    • Safely operate hand and power tools while fabricating or modifying parts to enhance machine performance.
    • Recommend and implement improvements that elevate equipment throughput, quality, and overall efficiency.
    • Follow all company safety, quality, and ISO protocols, contributing to a strong safety culture.
    • Partner with production, quality, and engineering teams, communicating clearly and professionally.
    • Use basic computer applications, including Outlook, Teams, and Microsoft Office, to track tasks and collaborate.
    • Tackle additional duties as needed to support the operation.

    What You’ll Bring

    • 5+ years of hands-on maintenance mechanic experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
    • Solid knowledge of hydraulics and electrical systems, including safe work practices.
    • High School Diploma or GED.
    • Comfort with both metric and standard tools and fasteners.
    • Sharp troubleshooting instincts and practical problem-solving abilities.
    • Clear, professional communication skills and team-first mindset.
    • Working knowledge of computers and common software (Outlook, Teams, Microsoft Office).
    • Ability to shift priorities quickly and respond to changing production needs.
    • Spanish bilingual ability is a plus.
    • Experience with electronics or ISO environments is a plus.

    Physical Requirements

    • Standing and walking throughout most of the day.
    • Frequent bending, squatting, climbing, and reaching around machinery.
    • Regularly lifting and moving up to 50 lbs.
    • Working safely around typical manufacturing and machine shop hazards.
    • Comfortable using a computer as part of the job.
