Description

Manufacturing Equipment Reliability Technician

Job Store Staffing is hiring immediately for a direct-hire role supporting a well-established manufacturer in the Broomfield area. Step into a facility where your multi-craft maintenance expertise keeps high-output production running smoothly.

A day in the life

At 4:00 AM, you’re on the floor—walking the line, listening for changes in pitch, feeling for vibration, and scanning controls. You prioritize your preventive maintenance list, then pivot to a call: a packaging motor is tripping. You read the electrical schematics, trace the fault, swap components, and bring the line back up. By mid-morning, you’re interpreting a new equipment drawing set, assisting engineers with an installation. After lunch, you weld a small bracket for a guard repair, then jump into pipefitting and millwright work to support an equipment improvement project. Before you wrap up, you update PM checklists and document a root cause analysis to prevent a repeat breakdown.

Core responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical issues on production equipment.
  • Execute preventive maintenance plans to maximize uptime.
  • Assist with installation and build-out of new production equipment.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, and electrical schematics.
  • Perform hands-on electrical, mechanical, carpentry, plumbing, millwright, and pipefitting tasks.
  • Support equipment improvement and maintenance projects across the plant.
  • Weld parts as needed to complete equipment repairs.
  • Collaborate with engineers and technicians on commissioning and optimization.
  • Create and update maintenance procedures and PM checklists.
  • Identify root causes of failures and recommend actions to prevent recurrence.

What you bring

  • 4–7 years of practical maintenance experience, OR technical trade school plus 4 years of hands-on experience.
  • Strong preference for industrial/manufacturing maintenance backgrounds.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot both electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Comfort reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
  • Positive attitude and a desire to build a long-term career.

Pay & schedule

  • $34–$38 per hour.
  • Monday–Thursday, 4:00 AM–2:30 PM (four 10-hour shifts).
  • Overtime on Fridays and Saturdays may be required.

Why you’ll love it

  • Direct hire with a stable, well-established manufacturer.
  • Significant overtime currently available.
  • 4–10’s schedule for extended weekends.
  • Strong opportunity for career growth.
