Description

MARS Solutions Group is looking for an experienced Manufacturing Engineering Technician / CNC Programmer in Lomira, WI. Our client is a recognized leader in the wear-resistant cutting components industry and is looking for a quality-focused professional who can make a meaningful impact.

Position Overview

Seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Engineering Technician / CNC Programmer to support CNC programming, manufacturing processes, tooling/fixture development, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement in a production environment. Strong Mastercam experience, including 5-axis machining, is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Develop and modify CNC programs using Mastercam, including multi-axis/5-axis machining.

Troubleshoot CNC, robotic, tooling, fixture, and process issues.

Develop and improve tooling, fixtures, manufacturing processes, and equipment.

Support new product launches, prototypes, process testing, and continuous improvement.

Create and maintain work instructions, routings, and manufacturing documentation.

Support equipment installation, startup, troubleshooting, and operator training.

Collaborate with Engineering, Production, Quality, and other teams.

Support APQP, PPAP, FMEA, control plans, and capability studies.

Qualifications

Associate degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering or related technical field preferred; equivalent experience considered.

2 3+ years of CNC programming or manufacturing experience.

Hands-on Mastercam experience required; 5-axis CNC experience strongly preferred.

Strong knowledge of CNC machining and manufacturing processes.

Experience with tooling/fixture development and process improvement.

Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.

SolidWorks/3D CAD experience preferred.

CNC robotics, machinery troubleshooting, or maintenance experience is a plus.

APQP/PPAP/FMEA experience preferred.

Ideal Candidate
A practical, hands-on manufacturing professional who can work comfortably between CNC programming and the production floor, troubleshoot problems, improve processes, and collaborate with engineering and production teams. Formal Mastercam training is desirable, but equivalent hands-on experience will be considered.
