Manufacturing Engineering Manager

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing management or production operations in electronics or electrical assembly environment
• Knowledgeable of Lean methodologies including DFMEA/PFMEA, Kaizen, and 5S
• Knowledgeable of manufacturing processes (electrical assembly, PCB integration, welding, metal fabrication, process documentation)
• Firmware/hardware background with electrical understanding of PCM/electronics and traffic control systems
• Proven success leading teams and delivering measurable improvements in cost, quality, or efficiency
• PLC knowledge is a plus
• Understanding of LED systems and traffic control electronics preferred
• Strong problem-solving, root cause analysis, and team leadership skills

Responsibilities:

• Manage production floor operations and oversee manufacturing teams to ensure consistent execution of electrical assembly processes and quality standards
• Own process improvements in reducing waste and enhancing productivity, and drive delivery of projects that result in measurable cost savings and operational efficiency gains
• Lead Lean initiatives including Kaizen events, 5S implementation, and value stream mapping across the production floor
• Lead PFMEAs and contribute findings to design reviews, assisting in Design for Manufacturability to reduce costs
• Analyze manufacturing data to identify trends and opportunities, and recommend and implement projects that deliver tangible ROI and production improvements
