    POSITION OVERVIEW
    As a Manufacturing Engineer your roles and responsibilities will include:
    The client is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support the production of machined parts and sub-assemblies. The engineer will develop manufacturing instructions, CNC/N/C programming, tooling and fixture concepts, and process improvements while providing hands-on support to the machine shop.
    Key Responsibilities
    • Develop detailed manufacturing instructions, operation sheets, and manufacturing procedures.
    • Determine manufacturing processes, operation sequencing, tooling, gauging, and machine requirements.
    • Review engineering drawings and specifications for manufacturability and producibility.
    • Develop and provide N/C/CNC programs for machining operations.
    • Assist machinists with program prove-out and production issues.
    • Establish setup and run times for manufacturing operations.
    • Identify opportunities to improve manufacturing efficiency, equipment, processes, materials, and designs.
    • Troubleshoot production issues and make necessary tooling/process revisions.
    • Prepare rework procedures for discrepant parts and support corrective actions.
    • Develop tooling, gauging, and fixture concepts and review related designs.
    • Estimate time and costs for tooling, fixtures, and manufacturing processes.
    • Prepare cost estimates for new proposals.
    • Provide technical support to other Manufacturing Engineers and Technicians.
    QUALIFICATIONS
    Most importantly, you need to be a passionate Manufacturing Engineer who enjoys his work and is considered to be one of the best within your organization. The ideal Manufacturing Engineer would be someone with deep experience in many (if not all) of the following:
    • 5-Axis Milling
    • CNC/N/C Programming
    • NX
    • GD&T
    • Blueprint/Engineering Drawing Reading
    • Knowledge of machining and manufacturing processes
    • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

    ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
    Compensation: Based on Experience. One of the best in the industry
    Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering or technical field or relevant working experience of at least 3 years
    Minimum Experience: 2+ to 5 years' experience
