    Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer to support NPI

    Location: El Cajon 92020

    Onsite/ Hybrid/ Remote: Onsite

    Duration: 6 12 months

    Job Description:

    Position Summary:

    The Manufacturing Engineer Project Support is responsible for supporting active aerospace manufacturing projects through process planning, production readiness, documentation control, and cross-functional coordination. This role works closely with project, quality, operations, and engineering teams to ensure deliverables are executed on schedule and in compliance with manufacturing and regulatory requirements.

    Position Responsibilities:

    • Experience and knowledge of manufacturing, methods, fabrication processes (e.g., forming, stamping, machining, heat treatment, machines/machine tools, cutting tools and fluids, instrumentation, data acquisition and control systems.
    • Assists in creating work instructions for installing components, systems and other assemblies.
    • Performs routine data analysis duties and prepares production and manufacturing documentation data.
    • Follows procedures, publication standards and government/customer specifications for authoring.
    • Performs deep analysis of Engineering Drawings, Modifications, Digital Engineering/transformation, Product development and Product lifecycle management, 3D experience (3DX) software, Magic Systems of Systems Architect and Agile frameworks.
    • Maintenance of data in Web based or on-line based tools.
    • Work with the project team, subject matter experts, and use existing documentation to understand content need.
    • Providing guidance and mentoring team during project execution.
    • Able to work independently with minimum supervision, positive demeanor.
    • Perform detailed analysis and interpretation of source data to understand the impact it should have on the product.
    • Good analytical approach for problem solving, driving the innovations with speed and agility.

    Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

    • Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical / Manufacturing / Aerospace)
    • 4-6 years of experience in creating, revising and reviewing the Production and Manufacturing documentation/Manuals.
    • Experience with creation of manufacturing planning and authoring assembly work instructions.
    • Experience on various advanced Manufacturing and Production methods and technologies.
    • Experience in Build plan and Computer-Aided Process Planning (CAPP).
    • Experience on Manufacturing Bill of Materials, reading Engineering drawings, Service Bulletins, specifications and any other engineering sources to research, analyze, and interpret to include the information in Publications/Documentations.
    • High degree of proficiency in MS Office tools (MS word, Excel and PPT).

    The payrate is $60/hr. to $65/hr. on C2C
