Job Description:
The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for leading the development, implementation, and optimization of manufacturing processes to support the production of high‑quality HVAC systems. This role applies advanced engineering principles to improve efficiency, reduce waste, ensure product consistency, and maintain high standards of safety and quality.A key component of this role includes expert-level management of SAP manufacturing master data, including engineering Bills of Material (BOMs), routings, work centers, and production standards. The position supports cross‑functional initiatives, drives continuous improvement, and serves as a technical resource in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
Education and Experience Requirements:
Requires a four-year ABET-accredited degree in engineering or an equivalent technical degree in applied sciences; 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing or process engineering role within the HVAC or a similar industry; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. Experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Essential Mental and Physical Functions:
This role requires a balance of technical analysis and hands-on engagement with production operations. The engineer must be able to manage complex projects while maintaining attention to detail and safety.
Work Environment:
The Manufacturing Engineer II works in both office and production environments, requiring flexibility and a strong safety mindset.
