Description
- Lead process improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, efficiency, and cost reduction.
- Investigate production issues, nonconforming materials, and customer-related concerns to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Design and execute experiments to evaluate and improve manufacturing processes.
- Support equipment installations, process transfers, and capital improvement projects.
- Develop and execute equipment and process validation protocols.
- Utilize Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, SPC, and statistical analysis tools to drive improvements.
- Analyze manufacturing data and develop actionable recommendations.
- Collaborate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Leadership teams to achieve operational goals.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
- Support continuous improvement projects that enhance product quality and overall plant performance.
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing engineering experience within a regulated or high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Experience with process validation, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation.
- Strong knowledge of statistical analysis and Design of Experiments (DOE).
- Experience utilizing Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and manufacturing data analysis tools.
- Experience with Minitab and CAD software is preferred.
- Strong communication and project management skills.
- Hands-on approach with the ability to work effectively on the manufacturing floor.
- Medical device, metals manufacturing, or other highly regulated industry experience is preferred.
