Manufacturing Engineer-Piqua, Ohio

The Manufacturing Engineer will improve manufacturing processes, troubleshoot production problems, optimize equipment and workflow, and ensure product quality. The role involves working closely with production teams, technicians, maintenance, and R&D to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and support new product development.

Must-have skills
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or Systems Engineering.
Minimum 2 years of manufacturing engineering or related experience.
Proficiency in CAD software.
Experience improving manufacturing processes and troubleshooting production issues.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Preferred skills
PLC programming and troubleshooting.
Hands-on experience with production machinery and equipment.
Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma.
Continuous improvement and root-cause analysis.
Process development, tooling, equipment layout, and workflow optimization.
Quality testing, process validation, and production data analysis.
Experience supporting new product development.
