    Description

    Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a Manufacturing Engineer role in Phoenix, AZ. Our client is a well-established industry leader known for innovation and a commitment to delivering the highest quality products. With a focus on continuous improvement, they pride themselves on maintaining excellence at every stage of their manufacturing process.

     

    Key Responsibilities:
    · Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
    · Create and maintain CNC programs using Mastercam to support machining operations.
    · Collaborate with machinists, production teams, and quality personnel to troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues.
    · Analyze production data and workflows to identify opportunities for process improvements.
    · Design and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
    · Support new product introductions, including process development, tooling design, and validation.
    · Provide technical support on CNC machining, tooling selection, and fixture design.
    · Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
    · Assist in equipment selection, installation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
    · Train and support operators on new processes and programs.

     

    Qualifications:
    · Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Manufacturing, Mechanical, or related field preferred).
    · 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role, preferably in a machining environment.
    · Required experience with Mastercam programming for CNC machining.
    · Strong understanding of CNC machining processes, tooling, and fixturing.
    · Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
    · Experience with Lean Manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
    · Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
    · Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
