Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer
Job Description
This Manufacturing Engineer role focuses on developing, improving, and digitizing manufacturing processes within the welding department. You will perform detailed process work, including time studies and build processes, while creating and refining 3D and 2D models to support efficient production. The position plays a key role in transitioning from paper-based systems to a fully digital manufacturing environment and will help lead process standardization and continuous improvement initiatives across multiple welding areas.

Work Environment
This position is based on a manufacturing floor within a welding-focused production environment. The role is predominantly first shift, with typical hours of either 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. or 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Team members may occasionally be asked to assist on second shift, which generally runs from 3:30 p.m. to midnight, with options such as 4:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. or 3:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. Second shift work may include approximately 30 minutes of overtime per day, depending on schedule configuration. Second shift coverage is shared across the team and is not frequent. The environment involves working closely with welding, metal fabrication, and assembly operations, using CAD tools such as Creo and digital software systems to support process documentation and control. The facility is investing heavily in digitizing the entire manufacturing process, offering the opportunity to work with modern tools and systems. The role includes benefits such as two weeks of paid time off, 13 paid holidays, and one week of sick pay.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $31.00 - $43.26/hr.
