My client is a well-established manufacturer serving specialty paper and converting markets. Troubleshoot equipment failures and support hands-on repair activities to minimize downtime. Identify root causes of recurring equipment, process, and quality issues and implement corrective actions. Improve equipment reliability through preventive maintenance, upgrades, and process improvements. Support equipment installations, commissioning, startups, and capital improvement projects. Optimize machine performance, uptime, yields, throughput, waste reduction, and setup times. Analyze production, downtime, and quality data to identify bottlenecks and improvement opportunities. Support process development, production trials, and capacity improvement initiatives. Develop and improve operating procedures, process controls, work instructions, and operator training. Investigate product quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions. Support customer complaint investigations and nonconforming material resolution. Collaborate with production, maintenance, quality, vendors, and suppliers to solve manufacturing challenges. Drive continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, and customer commitments.
