Manufacturing Engineer

Our client is seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Engineer to support the production of high-performance components for aerospace and industrial applications. This in-person role is suited to someone who enjoys solving technical problems and taking process improvements from concept through implementation.

You will develop and improve manufacturing processes, troubleshoot equipment and production issues, and support new product introductions. You’ll work closely with Quality, Maintenance, and Operations to improve safety, quality, and productivity.

What you’ll do

• Analyze production and statistical data to identify process improvements.

• Troubleshoot recurring equipment and manufacturing issues and implement lasting solutions.

• Design and improve tooling, fixtures, and processes involving CNC equipment.

• Own engineering projects from problem identification through implementation.

• Support equipment selection, machine setup, prototypes, process validation, and production launches.

• Update bills of material, manufacturing routers, and engineering procedures.

What we’re looking for

• Five or more years of experience in a similar role, including at least three years in manufacturing engineering.

• Hands-on experience developing and improving manufacturing processes.

• Proficiency with GD&T and CAD and design capability.

• Experience designing fixtures or tooling and working with CNC machining processes.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage projects independently.

• Clear communication skills and a collaborative approach.

A bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field is preferred; relevant experience may be considered in place of a degree. Experience with composite materials, high-precision machining, AS9100, capital equipment projects, or new product introductions is a plus.
