Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a Manufacturing Engineer role in Cincinnati, OH. · Develop, optimize, and support manufacturing processes for precision-machined components and production operations.
· Utilize Siemens NX to develop, modify, and optimize CNC programs and machining processes.
· Create and improve machining strategies, toolpaths, setups, tooling selections, speeds, feeds, and manufacturing methods.
· Work closely with machinists, production teams, quality, and engineering to troubleshoot manufacturing and machining issues.
· Review engineering drawings, blueprints, specifications, and customer requirements to determine appropriate manufacturing processes.
· Support CNC machining operations by identifying opportunities to improve cycle times, tooling performance, part quality, and overall production efficiency.
· Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation, work instructions, process plans, and related engineering documentation.
· Analyze production processes and implement continuous improvement initiatives to reduce scrap, downtime, and manufacturing costs.
· Assist with new product introductions, process development, tooling, fixtures, and production readiness.
· Troubleshoot manufacturing challenges and provide hands-on engineering support to the production floor.
· Ensure manufacturing processes meet established quality, safety, and customer requirements.
· Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field preferred.
· Previous experience in a Manufacturing Engineer, Manufacturing Process Engineer, CNC Programming, or similar manufacturing engineering role.
· Hands-on Siemens NX programming experience required.
· Strong understanding of CNC machining, tooling, fixtures, machining processes, speeds, feeds, and manufacturing fundamentals.
· Experience developing and optimizing CNC programs and toolpaths for precision-machined components.
· Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints, engineering drawings, GD&T, and technical specifications.
· Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, process improvement, and production troubleshooting.
· Experience working directly with machinists and production personnel in a manufacturing environment.
· Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
· Ability to manage multiple engineering projects and priorities while providing hands-on support to production.
· Competitive compensation based on experience. $85,000-$105,000 (DOE) Annually.
