Manufacturing Engineer
Location: Littleton, Colorado (On-site)
Role Overview
The manufacturing engineering team is seeking an Manufacturing Engineer to support operations at the Mechanical Manufacturing Center. This role requires working in a collaborative facility to develop and implement manufacturing processes, procedures, and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, processing, fabrication, and material handling. The successful candidate will drive the adoption of new technologies and processes, such as automation, robotics, and computer-aided manufacturing software, to optimize the production environment and digital work instructions.
Key Responsibilities
Required Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical discipline from an accredited college or university, or equivalent combined education and experience.
Experience: Familiarity with machining, assembly, or composite fabrication practices, along with experience collaborating in a team-oriented production environment.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, bills of material, schematics, and technical specifications, alongside strong technical writing skills for developing procedures and work instructions.
