    Manufacturing Engineer

    Industry: Aerospace Manufacturing

    Position Summary

    We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer with a strong foundation in core manufacturing processes and a passion for continuous improvement. This role supports both new and existing aerospace components and assemblies, ensuring production processes are efficient, compliant, and well-documented while meeting the highest quality and customer standards.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Execute engineering projects supporting the manufacture of new and existing aerospace parts and assemblies

    • Develop, document, and continuously improve production processes, techniques, and process plans

    • Create, maintain, and update detailed engineering work instructions, including:

    • Manufacturing and quality specifications

    • Engineering changes and revisions

    • Process controls and tooling definitions/requirements

    • Analyze manufacturing drawings and specifications to ensure producibility and compliance

    • Apply and interpret GD&T standards in support of manufacturing and inspection activities

    • Collaborate cross-functionally with design engineering, quality, operations, suppliers, and customers

    • Interface directly with customers and vendors, maintaining a high level of responsiveness and customer satisfaction

    • Support root cause analysis and corrective actions related to manufacturing issues

    Required Knowledge & Skills

    • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, including:

    • Welding

    • Stamping

    • Casting

    • Sheet metal fabrication

    • Machining

    • Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings and GD&T per ASME standards

    • Experience developing work instructions, process documentation, and manufacturing routings

    • Strong communication skills with the ability to work across internal teams and external partners

    • Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on quality, repeatability, and continuous improvement

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
    • Aerospace or other high-reliability manufacturing experience
    • Familiarity with regulated environments and quality systems
