Our client is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support and optimize machining and production processes within a highly regulated manufacturing environment. Description

This Manufacturing Engineer position is responsible for improving manufacturing processes, supporting production operations, and helping introduce new products into a regulated manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop efficient machining and assembly processes, enhance productivity, reduce costs, and ensure product quality and compliance requirements are met.

  • Develop and implement manufacturing processes for precision-machined components.
  • Create and maintain engineering documentation, drawings, specifications, and change orders.
  • Design tooling, fixtures, and equipment to improve productivity and manufacturing efficiency.
  • Support CAD/CAM activities, including model updates and machining program development.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, cost reduction, and throughput.

Profile

The ideal candidate will have an engineering or technical background with experience supporting manufacturing operations, preferably within a precision machining or medical device environment. They will be a proactive problem solver with strong communication skills, a continuous improvement mindset, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Experience with CNC machining processes, including milling and turning.
  • Strong proficiency with Mastercam software (required).
  • Knowledge of CAD systems and engineering drawing interpretation.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and process improvement methodologies.
  • Understanding of GD&T, tooling development, and manufacturing best practices.
