CNC Programming Specialist

Take ownership of CNC programming in a highly specialized manufacturer. Report directly to a new GM and help shape the future of the facility.

Our client is a respected precision manufacturing organization known for producing highly engineered components for demanding applications. Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot CNC machining programs for complex precision components. Translate customer and engineering requirements into efficient manufacturing processes. Support daily machining operations across advanced multi-axis machining centers and turning equipment. Collaborate directly with customers to resolve manufacturing challenges and improve production outcomes. Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, productivity, and process efficiency. Partner with shop floor personnel to improve manufacturability and streamline production workflows. Provide technical leadership for machining operations and process development. Support new product introductions and oversee successful implementation into production. Work closely with site leadership to help establish best practices and strengthen operational performance. Ensure compliance with quality, regulatory, and customer requirements within a highly regulated manufacturing environment.

Manufacturing Engineering experience within a precision machining environment. Strong CNC programming expertise with the ability to create, modify, and optimize programs independently. Previous experience as a machinist or extensive hands-on machining background strongly preferred. Experience supporting multi-axis machining centers and turning operations. Ability to communicate effectively with customers, engineers, and shop personnel. Proven success improving manufacturing processes, cycle times, and operational efficiency. Knowledge of regulated manufacturing environments such as aerospace, defense, medical, or similar industries preferred. Strong problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach to production challenges. Eligible to work within ITAR-regulated environments (U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder). Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent combination of education and machining experience preferred.
