Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
3+ years Manufacturing Engineering experience withcustom equipment preferred & precision machining of polymers and metals
Knowledge of Laser cutting and welding processes preferred
Experience with CAD software (SolidWorks or Inventor)
Knowledge of GD&T per ASME Y14.5
Experience with ERP/MRP and PLM/PDM systems
Experience with DFM/A and engineering drawings review
Must be strong with Continuous Improvement and Lean methodologies
Knowledge of process capability and SPC
Responsibilities:
Support production operations including troubleshooting, BoMs, routings, and engineering changes
Drive Continuous Improvement initiatives and process optimization activities
Review designs for manufacturability and cost (DFM/A) and approve engineering documentation
Develop manufacturing processes and documentation including PFMEAs, work instructions, and tooling
Lead equipment and tooling activities including design, sourcing, validation, and installation
