Description

This job is with Encode, Inc a fully owned subsidiary of Lancesoft.

The Mission: Powering the Modern World at Scale

At Client , we don’t just build machinery; we build the backbone of modern civilization. Our Greenville, SC facility—the world’s largest gas turbine manufacturing plant—is the birthplace of the 7HA.03, the world’s largest, most efficient 60Hz gas turbine.

We aren't building standard components. We design and manufacture massive, million pound equipment, capable of producing enough electricity to power an entire city.

Today, Client  technology helps generate approximately 25% of the world’s electricity. Demand has never been greater, and our site is scaling to meet this need. We are leading the charge to make power more reliable, efficient, and sustainable.

The Transformation: A $160M Evolution

Our facility is undergoing a historic transformation. Backed by a $160+ million local capital investment in Greenville and creating 650+ new manufacturing and engineering jobs, we are entirely overhauling legacy operations to deploy ultra-advanced, high-efficiency lean manufacturing lines.

We are introducing next-generation, high-end equipment to build the future of energy.

The Sandbox: State-of-the-Art Tech & Hardware

You’ll have access to an industry-leading hardware and software stack:

· CAD/CAM Suite: Siemens NX (5-Axis Continuous Milling, VTL, VBM, HBM, Multi-Axis EDM, etc).

· Digital Twin & Virtual Prototyping: 100% simulation coverage utilizing Vericut and Siemens Run My Virtual Machine.

· Next-Gen Hardware: Custom 10-ton multi-function grinding machines, massive 5-axis mills, and large VTLs/VBMs up to 2.5m.

· Advanced Diagnostics & Automation: Closed-Loop Machining (CLM), custom Renishaw probing routines, Caron Engineering TMaC, and Modal Analysis (tap testing) hardware/software.

What You’ll Do (Technical Ownership & Collaboration)

· Process Architecture: Design and optimize high-efficiency CNC programs for complex multi-axis setups cutting high-temperature superalloys (Inconel, Rene, and exotic nickels).

· Virtual Prototyping: Use digital twin software (Vericut) to validate code and optimize toolpaths in a risk-free virtual environment before hitting the shop floor.

· Smart Machining: Develop adaptive probing routines, macro programming, and closed-loop machining processes to make complex setups smooth and predictable.

· New Equipment Integration: Partner with Manufacturing Engineers and shop-floor teams to commission new multi-million-dollar machine tools and establish baseline machining standards.

· Cross-Functional Teamwork: Act as a technical mentor and partner on the floor—troubleshooting setups, proving out first-piece components, and sharing knowledge across the team.

What You’ll Bring

· CAM Mastery: Demonstrated experience programming 4 and 5-axis continuous milling, large VTLs, or multi-axis grinding systems using graphical CAM software (Siemens NX strongly preferred).

· Material & Control Knowledge: Experience machining high-temperature alloys or heavy structural parts, along with familiarity with modern controls (Siemens Sinumerik, Fanuc, Okuma, or Haas).

· Experience with on machine probing including Renishaw macros

· Quality & Safety Mindset: A pride in craftsmanship that prioritizes method setup, process stability, and safety over rushed code.

· 4 years minimum experience with offline programming in a CAM system.
