Manufacturing Engineer- Industrial- Lowell, MA

We are partnering with a well established and growing manufacturer seeking a hands on Manufacturing Engineer to support production, equipment reliability, process improvement, and product quality initiatives. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field preferred.

• Drive continuous improvement efforts focused on safety, quality, productivity, and equipment performance
• Troubleshoot manufacturing equipment, production issues, and process inefficiencies
• Lead root cause investigations and implement corrective and preventive actions
• Work directly with operators, maintenance technicians, and quality personnel to resolve issues in real time
• Improve equipment reliability and manufacturing process performance
• Support production trials, process development, equipment startups, and new initiatives
• Develop process controls, documentation, and standard operating procedures
• Analyze manufacturing data and recommend improvements to reduce downtime and increase efficiency
• Serve as a key technical resource for plant operations

A successful Manufacturing Engineer should have:

• 3 to 7+ years of manufacturing, process, mechanical, or equipment engineering experience
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field preferred
• Strong mechanical aptitude with hands on troubleshooting experience
• Ability and willingness to work directly on manufacturing equipment when needed
• Experience troubleshooting industrial equipment and production processes
• Knowledge of quality systems, root cause analysis, process controls, and continuous improvement methodologies
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Self starter with a high level of ownership and accountability
