We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer II or III to support machining operations, process development, tooling implementation, and continuous improvement initiatives within a precision manufacturing environment. This role will be heavily involved in optimizing production methods, increasing efficiency, and improving manufacturability while partnering closely with operations, quality, and engineering teams.

Description
- Develop, implement, and improve manufacturing processes for precision machined components and assemblies
- Support machine shop operations through process optimization and troubleshooting
- Design and develop fixtures, tooling, and manufacturing aids using CAD software
- Lead equipment and tooling planning efforts to support production requirements
- Analyze manufacturing performance and identify opportunities for increased throughput, quality, and cost reduction
- Drive Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives throughout the operation
- Improve assembly and manufacturing workflows to enhance efficiency and product quality
- Collaborate with production, quality, supply chain, and engineering teams to resolve manufacturing challenges
- Participate in process validation, root cause investigations, and corrective actions
- Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation, work instructions, and process standards

Profile
A successful Manufacturing Engineer III should have:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field preferred
- 3-5+ years of Manufacturing Engineering experience
- Experience supporting machining processes and machine shop environments
- Strong understanding of manufacturing equipment, tooling, and fixture development
- Experience designing fixtures and tooling using CAD software
- Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
- Experience improving assembly processes and manufacturing workflows
- Strong problem-solving and cross-functional communication skills
- Aerospace and defense industry experience preferred, but candidates from other highly regulated or advanced manufacturing industries are encouraged to apply
