Job Title:         Manufacturing Engineer II 

Client:              Heavy Machine Manufacturing Company
Location:         Waterloo, IA 50703

 

Duration:         2 Years – Possible Extension
Shift:                1st Shift | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Over Time:       5–8 hours if requested
Work Type:      Onsite

Job Summary

Seeking a Manufacturing Engineer II with an Industrial Engineering background to support manufacturing operations, improve processes, conduct time studies, and increase efficiency.

Job Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

·         Support manufacturing & distribution operations.

·         Conduct time studies and work measurement for incentive pay systems such as CIPP.

·         Improve manufacturing methods, tooling, and processes.

·         Support quality improvement and efficiency initiatives.

·         Provide shop floor troubleshooting and problem-solving.

·         Participate in preventive maintenance and facilities activities.

·         Prepare technical documentation and process procedures.

·         Analyze data and prepare reports using Microsoft Office.

·         Coordinate with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and contractors.

·         Spend approximately 60% of the day on your feet.

·         Work flexible hours as required to support operations.

Qualifications

Qualifications

·         Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field.

·         2+ years of Manufacturing Engineering experience preferred.

·         Recent graduates with relevant internships/academic experience may be considered.

·         Experience with manufacturing, distribution, tooling, quality, or facilities.

·         Experience with time studies, work measurement, or incentive pay systems.

·         Strong technical writing and communication skills.

·         Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

·         Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
