What You Can Expect

The Manufacturing Engineer I is an entry-level position, responsible for supporting manufacturing engineeringto ensure efficient manufacturing processes. Engineering services may include cell management, process development, project management, process validation, tool design, and trouble shooting.

How You'll Create Impact

  • Assist is maintaining and improving controlled technical documents such as prints, procedures, bill of materials and routers.
  • Support a wide variety of processing applications.
  • With guidance from more experienced engineers analyze capacity, and capability requirements.
  • Improve process methods which meet performance and quality requirements.
  • Execute project plans and schedules for work activities.
  • Communicate (written and verbal) with appropriate personnel from other departments.
  • Maintain and improve controlled technical documents such as procedures, bill of materials and routers.
  • Improve process methods which meet performance and quality requirements.
  • Establishing process methods which meet performance and quality requirements.
  • Establishing preliminary bill of materials and process routing.
  • Identifying a variety of options and choosing the most appropriate processes and methods.
  • Negotiating target completion dates with appropriate personnel from other departments.
  • Developing schedules for work activities, compliant with business needs.
  • Working knowledge of Quality Management System; Nonconformance and Issue Evaluation process.
  • Good problem-solving skills through the use of quality and statistical tools.
  • Ability to effectively work within a cross-functional team to complete critical project tasks.
  • Ability to observe and improve production processes.
  • Demonstrates good written and verbal communication skills.

  • Understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)

Your Background

  • B.S. in Engineering required

Expected Compensation Range

  • $65,000 - $80,000
