Job Description

The Manufacturing Engineer will:

  • Support the introduction of new products and facilitate the transition from engineering development into full-scale manufacturing.
  • Create, update, and maintain manufacturing documentation including work instructions, process routings, and bills of materials.
  • Analyze manufacturing operations and implement process improvements to enhance quality, productivity, safety, and cost performance.
  • Provide hands-on manufacturing engineering support to production teams and resolve day-to-day technical issues.
  • Partner with engineering, quality, and operations teams to improve manufacturability and assembly efficiency.
  • Lead root cause investigations and implement corrective and preventive actions to eliminate recurring issues.
  • Develop, specify, or improve tooling, fixtures, and testing equipment to support manufacturing operations.
  • Work with suppliers and internal stakeholders to improve component manufacturability and sourcing effectiveness.
  • Monitor production metrics and manufacturing data to identify trends and support performance improvements.
  • Train production personnel on new processes, equipment, and standard operating procedures.

The Successful Applicant

The successful Manufacturing Engineer should have the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline
  • 3-5 years of manufacturing experience in an environment supporting capital equipment, automation systems, or electromechanical products
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and production support activities.
  • Experience working directly with shop floor operations and production teams.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical specifications.
  • Knowledge of process improvement methodologies and problem-solving techniques.
  • Experience supporting new product introduction (NPI) activities.
  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Exposure to regulated or ISO-based manufacturing environments is advantageous.
  • A proactive, hands-on approach with a focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence
