    Overview

    Join our dynamic team as a Manufacturing Engineer at our state-of-the-art facility in Grantsburg, WI! We are looking for a passionate and innovative individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to contribute to our manufacturing processes. In this role, you will play a key part in optimizing production efficiency, ensuring quality standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

    Essential Duties:

    • Develops detailed manufacturing methods

    • Designs and/or selects tooling and fixturing needs

    • Initiates Quality Planning activities

    • Supports estimating activities

    • Initiates material planning activities

    • Controls outside vendor processes

    • Acts as Project Manager for assigned projects

    • Implements and/or initiates process improvements and supports lean initiatives

    • Insure compliance to applicable solicitation and contractual requirements

    • Helps train engineers, machinists and other employees as necessary

    • Perform other tasks as requested or required to support the needs of the business

    • Minimal supervision and direction to complete tasks effectively

    **Qualifications:

    **

    • A Bachelor of Science degree in Manufacturing Engineering or related field and/or equivalent experience is required. Typically, minimum experience: 5 to 7+ years.

    • Possess extensive knowledge of manufacturing processes

    • Proficient with the use of CAD systems

    • Familiarity with sampling plans and techniques

    • Knowledge of major aerospace and/or DOD manufacturing preferred

    • Demonstrates proficiency with MS office software

    • Project Management, demonstrating strong organization and communication skills.

    • Knowledge of Quality assurance practices and procedures, including ISO 9001 Quality Systems

    • Knowledge of Government contracting requirements

    • Ability to work well in a team environment
