Work cross-functionally to improve safety quality productivity and cost while supporting production operations equipment implementation process improvements and engineering initiatives. Day to Day Responsibilities Support production and manufacturing operations Drive process improvements and problem-solving activities Support equipment installation startup and commissioning Collaborate with production maintenance quality and engineering teams Conduct root cause analysis and implement countermeasures Support new model launches and production changes Review technical drawings and specifications Support controls robotics automation facilities environmental or manufacturing systems as needed Lead continuous improvement initiatives Ensure safety quality and productivity targets are achieved This is a Full Time opportunity.The ideal candidate will have 3-10years of engineering experience supporting manufacturing operations production processes equipment implementation continuous improvement or capital projects within an industrial or automotive environment.Required Skills & Qualifications BS in Engineering or related technical field 3 years manufacturing experience Automotive manufacturing preferred Experience supporting production operations Strong problem-solving skills Experience with equipment processes automation controls facilities environmental systems or manufacturing operations Microsoft Office Ability to work cross-functionally Continuous Improvement TPS experience preferredPreferred Skills & Qualifications Automotive manufacturing experience Experience supporting production operations manufacturing processes or new model launches Knowledge of manufacturing equipment robotics automation controls or industrial systems Experience with AutoCAD or the ability to review and interpret technical drawings Project management or capital project implementation experience Experience with equipment installation startup commissioning or production ramp-up activities Paint stamping body weld assembly facilities utility environmental or production engineering experience Experience working with contractors suppliers and cross-functional teams Knowledge of environmental safety or regulatory compliance requirements Lean Manufacturing Continuous Improvement Six Sigma Kaizen or Toyota Production System TPS experience OSHA training safety compliance or industrial construction experience Experience in high-volume manufacturing environments Strong troubleshooting root cause analysis and problem-solving skills Ability to travel as required to support project and production activitiesPay Rate 45-80hrPay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors including the candidates education work experience work location specific job duties certifications etc.Qualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration Please hit APPLY to provide the required information and we will be back in touch as soon as possible.Benefits Volt offers benefits based on eligibility that include the following health dental vision term life short term disability AD&D 401k Sick time and other types of paid leaves as required by law Employee Assistance Program EAP.Volt is an Equal Opportunity Employer and prohibits any kind of unlawful discrimination and harassment.
