Job Description

Support the introduction of new products and the transition of capital equipment into full-scale manufacturing.

Develop, review, and maintain manufacturing documentation including work instructions, routings, and bills of materials.

Drive process improvement initiatives focused on quality, productivity, cost reduction, and operational efficiency.

Provide day-to-day engineering support to production teams, troubleshooting manufacturing and quality issues.

Partner with engineering and operations teams to enhance product manufacturability and assembly efficiency.

Lead or participate in root cause investigations and implement corrective actions to improve performance and reliability.

Design, specify, or support tooling, fixtures, and test equipment required for production processes.

Collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to improve sourcing strategies and manufacturability.

Analyze production data, support ERP system accuracy, and track key manufacturing metrics.

Train and support manufacturing personnel on new processes, equipment, and standard operating procedures.

The Successful Applicant

3-5 years of manufacturing engineering experience within capital equipment, automation, or electromechanical manufacturing environments.

Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and production support activities. Experience working directly on the production floor to resolve manufacturing challenges and improve efficiency.

Ability to interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.

Knowledge of Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) methodologies preferred.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience conducting root cause analysis.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.

Experience within ISO-regulated or similarly controlled manufacturing environments is advantageous.
