Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering or science field
- Two (2) years of electrical module assembly experience
- Understanding of electrical module DFM requirements
- Understanding of product development workstreams - specification development, design, build, validation, and industrialization activities
- In-depth knowledge of developing engineering specifications for assembly processes
- Good written and communication skills
- Prior work experience in the industry

Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Knowledge of laser welding and selective soldering processes
- Project management and risk management skills
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Developing and documenting Inverter manufacturing and assembly processes (i.e., laser welding, PCBA soldering, etc.)
- Develop and maintain engineering specifications for the Inverter assembly
- Support tier 1 Inverter assembler with adapting Inverter assembly processes toward mass production
- Contribute toward decision making of tier 1 Inverter assembler production equipment selection
- Prototyping manufacturing tools and fixtures to aid in the Inverter assembly process
- Conduct DOEs to prove out Inverter manufacturing and assembly processes
- Maintain and procure parts to develop prototype manufacturing tools/fixtures
- Manage traction inverter component BOM and electrical interfaces/device transmittals with cross-functional teams
- Lead GPDS unit and program deliverables and report out milestone status to cross-functional teams
