Description

This Manufacturing Engineer position focuses on advanced CNC programming, digital manufacturing, and process optimisation for large, complex precision-machined components. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing manufacturing strategies, improving machining efficiency, supporting production teams, and helping establish scalable digital workflows across the organization.

  • Develop and validate 3-axis to 5-axis CNC machining programmes using advanced CAD/CAM platforms.
  • Create and maintain digital manufacturing data, simulation models, and process documentation.
  • Support machine prove-outs, troubleshooting activities, and shop floor process improvements.
  • Drive cycle time reduction, tooling optimisation, and machining performance initiatives.
  • Collaborate with quality, production, and external technology partners to enhance manufacturing capabilities.

Profile

The ideal candidate is a hands-on manufacturing engineer with strong CNC programming experience and a passion for advanced manufacturing technologies. They will be comfortable working across engineering and production environments, possess excellent problem-solving skills, and have experience supporting precision machining operations for complex components.

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong CNC programming experience within a CAD/CAM environment, ideally including multi-axis machining.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing process development, GD&T, tooling, and machining best practices.
  • Experience supporting production teams through process optimisation and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain required security clearance credentials.
