We are partnering with a rapidly growing defense manufacturer that produces some of the most complex propulsion components supporting critical U.S. naval programs. This is not a typical CNC programming role. You'll work with massive, highly engineered components, advanced multi-axis machining centers, and a fully integrated digital manufacturing environment that is being built from the ground up.
Program and optimize complex 3, 4, and 5-axis CNC machining operations for large-scale precision components supporting critical defense applications.
Develop fully associative CNC programs using Siemens NX CAM while supporting a fully integrated digital manufacturing environment.
Validate and simulate machining processes using advanced verification tools to ensure efficiency, quality, and first-pass success.
Collaborate with machinists, quality, engineering, and leadership teams to drive continuous process improvements and solve complex manufacturing challenges.
Support the development of digital manufacturing standards, workflows, automation initiatives, and PLM integration efforts.
Improve tooling strategies, machine utilization, cycle times, and overall production performance.
Provide hands-on shop floor support during machine prove-outs, troubleshooting, first-article inspections, and process validation activities.
Play a key role in shaping the future of manufacturing operations by helping build and enhance next-generation CNC programming and digital manufacturing systems.

A successful Manufacturing Engineer - CNC Programmer should have:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related technical discipline
Equivalent combinations of education and significant CNC programming experience will be considered
Strong CNC programming and manufacturing engineering background
Experience with multi-axis machining environments
Knowledge of GD&T and ASME Y14.5 standards
Strong technical communication and documentation skills
U.S. Citizenship required
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Confidential Security Clearance
Work on complex, large-scale precision components that directly support national defense programs
