Rate: $43 $50/hr W2

About the Role:
We are seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Engineer to support manufacturing process development, equipment readiness, preventive maintenance, PFMEA updates, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement. This role will work closely with manufacturing, engineering, and quality teams to improve processes and establish robust manufacturing systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Support manufacturing process development, optimization, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.
  • Evaluate manufacturing equipment and processes to improve reliability, efficiency, quality, and readiness.
  • Establish and improve Preventive Maintenance (PM) programs, including PM activities, spare parts, equipment logs, and documentation.
  • Review and update PFMEAs using manufacturing and equipment performance data.
  • Develop, execute, and maintain manufacturing and equipment documentation.
  • Support equipment setup, calibration verification, readiness checks, runoffs, and production activities.
  • Participate in prototype builds, equipment integration, scale-up, and manufacturing readiness activities.
  • Investigate equipment and process issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective improvements.
  • Work cross-functionally with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and other teams.
  • Support additional manufacturing engineering projects as business needs evolve.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
  • 5 8 years of Manufacturing Engineering experience.
  • Experience in medical device, biotech, and/or pharmaceutical manufacturing; medical device preferred.
  • Experience with manufacturing process development, process improvement, equipment integration, or manufacturing engineering.
  • Working knowledge of PFMEA, preventive maintenance, equipment logs, spare parts, and equipment readiness.
  • Experience creating, updating, and executing manufacturing and equipment documentation.
  • Hands-on experience evaluating equipment and manufacturing processes and implementing practical improvements.
  • Experience supporting equipment builds, runoffs, troubleshooting, and production readiness.
  • Strong organizational, documentation, communication, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience establishing or improving Preventive Maintenance programs.
  • Experience updating PFMEAs based on manufacturing or equipment performance data.
  • Equipment qualification, calibration, or production readiness experience.
  • Prototype builds, equipment runoffs, or manufacturing scale-up experience.
  • Experience in a growing or rapidly developing manufacturing environment.
